Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.Raytheon’s Land Air Defense Systems (LADS) Engineering Execution Department is seeking a skilled and motivated Operations Manager to drive efficient and effective engineering operations across the LADS SBU Engineering organization. The role manages capital planning activities, supports staffing and demand forecasting, clearance processing and tracking, facilitates CORE and annual goal alignment process, tracks and manages engineering training requirements, streamlines internal communications, and ensures smooth team operations. The analyst partners with the LADS SBU Engineering leaders, disciplines, governance orgs and functional partners to maintain alignment across engineering teams and enable strong execution and operational excellence.This position is onsite based in Tewksbury, MA, Tucson, AZ, Huntsville, AL or McKinney, TX.What You Will DoSupport the LADS Engineering leadership team in efficient and effective operations across the organization.Support Capital planning and execution activities.Support staffing and demand forecasting.Facilitate CORE and annual goal alignment processes.Drive process improvements into organization operations.Collaborate across LADS Engineering leadership team, disciplines, and governance organization.Travel as required to meet organizational objectives.What You Will LearnStrong communication and leadership skills for coordinating across internal and external stakeholders.Collaborate across SBU engineering organizations, engineering disciplines and governance organizations.Grow visibility and understanding across the LADS portfolio of products.Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.Experience managing cost, schedule, and execution for technical projects.Experience leading a team.Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
