Hiring Carpenters – Large Data Center Project – Cheyenne, WYJoin a major commercial data center build as a Carpenter, overseeing temporary structures, concrete formwork support, and door/hardware installation. This role spans multiple phases of new construction and requires strong coordination, safety awareness, and hands-on expertise in both rough and finish carpentry.Job Description:Temporary structures — build/install temporary protection, safety carpentry, fence lining, weather protection, hole covers, rails, walls, and stairsConcrete formwork support — assist form setters with grade beams, slab-on-grade, footings, columns, and plywood formsRough carpentry — metal framing, metal stud installation, and structural carpentryDoors & hardware — install doors and hardware to specFinish carpentry — trim, interior finish, and detailed carpentrySupport concrete pours and finishingRead and interpret blueprints and construction drawingsSafely operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring toolsMaintain clean, organized work areas and assist with general site upkeepWork collaboratively with crews of 5–30 and coordinate with other tradesSkills/Requirements:4+ years commercial journeyman-level carpentry experienceExperience across all phases of commercial construction (rough ? finish)Experience in temporary protection/safety carpentrySkilled in metal framing and metal stud installationProven door and hardware installation experienceProficiency in trim and finish carpentryExperience with grade beams, slab-on-grade, footings, columns, and plywood formworkAbility to read blueprints and construction documentsSafe, proficient use of hand and power toolsExperience on large commercial new-construction sitesWhy Work Here:High-profile, long-term commercial projectConsistent hours with significant overtime$100/day per diem when working 75+ miles from homeExposure to complex, multi-phase commercial constructionStable crews and structured site leadershipWork Environment:Large data center construction siteCrews of 5–30 carpenters/trades40–60 hours per week, Sundays offExtensive use of hand tools, power tools, and concrete/formwork equipmentMust provide steel-toed boots and follow all PPE/safety requirementsJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheyenne, WY.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
