Overview The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program prepares candidates for a Store Manager role by providing mentorship from a District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and a Store Manager coach. Responsibilities Communicate effectively in writing and verbally to support and lead your team. Perform customer care duties to maintain high levels of service. Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth. Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your promotion path. Support your store as a management team member and lead consistently with CVS values and policies. Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Be willing to accept a promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market. Accept promotion roles with the market you work in. Qualifications Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager at any location in the designated market. Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market. Availability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor. Four‑year college degree preferred, or relevant work experience considered in lieu of a college degree. Incentives & Schedule Anticipated Weekly Hours : 45 hours Time Type : Full time Pay Range : $18.50 - $28.67 per hour (or equivalent annual full‑time salary). Actual offer varies by experience, education, location, and other factors.
