Shipper and Receiver

Position Summary Magellan Aerospace, New York offers a Shipper & Receiver position responsible for efficient handling, storage, and transportation of materials, parts, and products. Requires at least one year of shipping and receiving experience and a valid CDL license. Salary range: $25–$30 per hour. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment. Properly document shipments, including bills of lading, packing slips, and inventory records. Ensure all shipments comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments in the inventory system. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products. Package, label, and prepare shipments for delivery or transport. Operate company vehicles to transport materials between facilities, if required. Position Requirements Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Valid CDL license. Forklift certification is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in using inventory management systems and shipping software. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Knowledge of shipping regulations and procedures.
