Compensation: $15.00 - 17.00 per hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: Part Time | 10 - 20 hours per week
Location: Crestview, FL (An easy 45-minute drive from Pensacola)

Overview
Avail Health & Behavioral Solutions, LLC is seeking an active, high-energy Community Inclusion Mentor to support a young adult in his 20s on the autism spectrum. More than a mentor, our client is looking for a friend to share new experiences, explore local events, and dive into his favorite hobbies. Your workday will involve planning and enjoying a variety of fun outings—including bowling, swimming, fishing, arcades, movies, and concerts—as well as checking out nightlife spots like local dance clubs. While having fun is the priority, you will also play a key role in guiding the client's personal development, modeling healthy social boundaries, and creating a safe, stress-free environment for him to thrive.

We will gladly sign your paperwork to help you meet internship requirements or earn college credits! This role is an incredible resume builder for Psychology, Special Education, and ABA majors, as well as other related human services programs. You will gain valuable hands-on experience with in-demand skills such as behavioral redirection, social modeling, and community integration. Plus, you will receive free state-mandated training credentials through the Florida Department of Health and Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD).

• Brings a great attitude to work every day
• Models positive behavior and healthy goal-setting habits
• Has experience working one-on-one with individuals to support their personal goals
• Background as a teacher, coach, youth mentor, or personal trainer is a huge plus

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for professional use (gas/mileage not reimbursed)
• Ability to pass a Level II Background Screening
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs
• Demonstrated ability to manage client care and safety with limited supervision
• Personal smartphone required for app-based scheduling and client communication
• CPR/First Aid Certification (required within 30 days of onboarding)
• APD Training Certificates (required within 30 days of onboarding)
