Step into a dynamic and rewarding opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contract role offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact in an educational environment, supporting a diverse student population and collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and professionals.

You’ll work at a single school site, providing vital OT services to over 50 students on your caseload. The hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm, totaling 35 hours per week. Your contract will begin on August 27 and continue until a direct hire is secured, giving you a consistent schedule as you deliver essential therapy and support.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in Washington State
• At least one year of experience in school-based OT settings
• Proficient in evaluation, IEP development, and progress monitoring
• Strong organizational skills to manage a large caseload efficiently
• Excellent communication abilities for interacting with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP team meetings
• Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation
• Provide consultative support to teachers and classroom staff
• Foster a positive, supportive environment to help students reach their goals
