• Role: Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - Outpatient Rehab
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 - August 31, 2026)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,920 - $2,060
• Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
• Shift: 8-hour days; Day shifts (M, T, W: 9am-6pm; Th: 8:15am-3:45pm; F: 9am-4:30pm; some flexibility for shorter days)
• Call/Weekend Requirement: None
• Orientation: 8 hours

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Valid Michigan Physical Therapy license required (MI PT license)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist (outpatient preferred)
• Experience treating orthopedic and neurological patient populations required
• Epic electronic health record (EHR) / Epic charting experience required
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions accepted)
• References required
• Pelvic floor therapy experience highly preferred (not required)
• Previous charge or community hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient physical therapy services to adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Evaluate and treat a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions, including post-operative care, spinal disorders, joint replacements, and cognitive-related rehab
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans focused on functional outcomes
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and long-term self-management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including PT colleagues and rapid response teams, to coordinate patient care
• Use specialized rehab equipment such as the AlterG anti-gravity treadmill
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic EHR
• Participate in orientation, competency training, and annual modules
