Patient Services Specialist

Job Overview Patient Services Specialist (PSS) will handle most clerical duties associated with a medical clinic. The role is organized into front‑office stations; each employee learns and performs all station duties and also assists coworkers as needed. The position requires strong copywriting, editing, attention to detail, and the ability to meet time‑sensitive priorities. The PSS performs additional duties and projects as assigned. Key Responsibilities Perform clerical duties for the medical clinic. Learn and execute the tasks of all front‑office stations. Assist co‑workers in all PSS job duties at all times. Maintain high level of detail and organizational skills. Support time‑sensitive priorities and meet deadlines. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Experience in healthcare highly preferred. Strong copywriting and editing skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Demonstrated critical thinking, problem‑solving, planning, and self‑management. Ability to handle confidential material, high‑pressure situations, and diverse populations.
