Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students with special needs at two welcoming school sites in Ventura County. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for passionate Special Education professionals eager to enrich the lives of learners with autism in both Westlake Village and Oxnard.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California Special Education credential or Mild to Moderate credential
• Autism Authorization required
• Experience working with K-12 students, especially those with mild to moderate disabilities and autism spectrum disorders
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Adaptability and commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group instruction to students with autism and other mild to moderate needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
• Collect data, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records
• Utilize diverse teaching strategies to promote student growth and independence
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development within a positive classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on goal-setting
