Job Title

Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF)

Contract | Travel | Days | 13 Weeks | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy services to adult and geriatric patients recovering from CVA, amputation, orthopedic injuries, and other complex conditions
• Manage a caseload with a patient-to-therapist ratio of 6:1 within an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation equipment including Ekso NR and REAL VR systems as part of patient treatment plans
• Document patient progress and treatment plans using UDS ProDoc EHR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patient recovery goals in a structured inpatient environment
• Adhere to facility infection control policies, including influenza vaccination requirements or approved exemption with masking protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Experience working with adult patient populations
• Compliance with facility influenza vaccination policy or submission of an approved medical or religious exemption with required masking during flu season (November 1 – March 31)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation
• Experience in neurological rehabilitation, including CVA and neuro populations
• Familiarity with advanced rehab technology such as robotic-assisted therapy devices or virtual reality rehabilitation systems
