Job Description Seeking Physicians in SOUTHWEST FLORIDA - Near Sarasota - Joining Private Group It is a 300 bed, regional healthcare system that provides a comprehensive array of medical services to the area. Situated on the Gulf of Mexico, near Sarasota, city is known for its friendly, small-town feel, its charming downtown shopping area and its elegant boulevards shaded by giant oaks. Business, culture and natural beauty all coexist peacefully in this region of the Gulf Coast, where the beaches and blue skies stretch for miles. A central park along city's main street is the site of regular concerts, arts and crafts shows, and special events, while numerous other gardens, green spaces and nature trails can be found throughout this charming community. The market is currently in need of additional primary care providers (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine). The primary care practices in the community have limited new patient appointments and are scheduling as far as 8 weeks. It is an independent medical group that is wanting to expand in our primary service area. We are seeking two primary care physicians to join their group based on community need. Position Highlights: Employed opportunity with private group (hospital is supporting recruitment with income guarantee) Call schedule 1 in 3 (eventually 1 in 4) – will utilize hospitalist service for all inpatient admissions / inpatient call Office location in town – 3 exam rooms per provider, with staff support for each provider Group established in 2006 in Sarasota and have since expanded their presence / footprint in the surrounding areas (to now include the city).
