General Manager – Houston TX Hot Chicken

Location: Las Vegas, NV (Upcoming Corporate Locations)

Houston TX Hot Chicken is one of the fastest-growing hot chicken brands in the country, built on exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and a people-first culture. We are looking for passionate, energetic, and results-driven General Managers to lead our newest Las Vegas locations.

As a General Manager, you will be responsible for every aspect of restaurant operations, from developing future leaders and driving profitability to delivering an outstanding guest experience every day. What You'll Do

As the General Manager, you will oversee all daily restaurant operations while creating an environment where both guests and team members thrive.

Operational Leadership

• Lead all day-to-day restaurant operations while maintaining Houston TX Hot Chicken brand standards.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
• Ensure exceptional execution of food quality, speed of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
• Create an energetic and positive culture that motivates and retains high-performing team members.
• Coach, develop, and mentor Assistant General Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members.

Financial Management

• Manage and control labor costs while maximizing productivity.
• Maintain food cost goals through proper ordering, inventory management, waste reduction, and portion control.
• Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Achieve sales, labor, profitability, and operational KPI targets.

Team Development

• Recruit, interview, hire, and develop exceptional talent.
• Conduct regular coaching conversations and performance evaluations.
• Build leadership succession within the restaurant.
• Foster a culture built on accountability, respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain high employee retention through strong leadership and engagement.

Food Safety & Compliance

• Ensure strict compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain ServSafe Manager Certification.
• Lead the restaurant through health inspections and third-party food safety audits.
• Enforce company operating procedures and safety standards.

Guest Experience

• Lead from the front by actively engaging with guests.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
• Build a culture centered around hospitality and memorable guest experiences.
• Ensure every guest receives exceptional food and service.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of General Manager experience in a high-volume quick-service or fast-casual restaurant.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Cost of Goods (COGS)
  • Labor Management
  • P&L Statements
  • Inventory Control
  • Food Safety Standards
  • Restaurant Financial Performance
• Experience leading teams of 30+ employees.
• Proven success developing future leaders and retaining top talent.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• ServSafe Manager Certification (required prior to completion of training or upon hire).

Paid Training Program

Every General Manager hired for Houston TX Hot Chicken completes an extensive 4-week paid management training program before leading their own restaurant.

Training includes hands-on instruction with our experienced Training Team and Director of Company Operations , covering:

• Kitchen execution and food quality standards
• Leadership and people development

• Cost of goods management
• Inventory and ordering
