Job Description
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule

12-hour shifts, 3 times per week, with a mixture of 09:00 - 21:30, 11:00 - 23:30, and 12:00 - 00:30 shifts. Weekend coverage required every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Contract duration starts in 3-4 weeks, with 36 guaranteed hours per week for 3-12 hour shifts. May float to partner facilities as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma center
• ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with central lines, transvenous pacemakers, and chest tubes necessary
• Pending licenses accepted
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• RTO restrictions: No more than 7 days

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department
• Assess patients' conditions and implement appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care
• Document patient assessments and nursing interventions accurately
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans
