What the program offers: No separate application and no application deadlines. Automatic enrollment for all newly hired graduate nurses. Available at all 12 Sentara hospitals. After orientation, begin your Residency right away. 6-months of hands-on experience alongside trained preceptors in 6 areas: Medical-Surgical, Intermediate Care, Critical Care, Emergency, Operating Room, and Women's Health Topics such as career pathing, professional development, leadership, self-care, and stress management. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
