Registered Nurse Pre Op PACU

Hourly Wage Estimate: $36.50 - $55.25 / hour Job Summary As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the immediate post‐operative care of surgical patients. Responsibilities include managing airway support, closely monitoring neurological and cardiac status, and responding promptly to any complications or side effects. You will provide initial wound care to the patients’ surgical site and ensure patient stability during recovery. Collaboration with the surgical and anesthesia team is required. The role includes on‑call availability during select non‑business hours. Key Responsibilities Oversee and direct the care of the post‑surgical/post‑procedural patient. Serve specific age groups (adult, adolescent, geriatric, or pediatric populations) with specialized skills. Rotate to areas outside your assigned service, performing duties for which you have demonstrated competency. Supervise assistive personnel and maintain final accountability for patient care. Qualifications Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or an active multi‑state license. Basic Life Support certification via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. ACLS & PALS certifications. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. Minimum of one (1) year experience required; PACU, Ambulatory, Critical Care or Emergency Department experience preferred.
