Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a broad spectrum of ultrasound exams, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step with warmth and care
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the production of top-notch diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Maintain precise documentation of procedures and update patient records in our electronic medical records system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound techniques and adhere to best practice guidelines

Educational Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferably completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certification Requirements

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
