Bus Driver Trainee
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Required: Must upload a copy of your High School diploma, High School transcript, or GED.
Other required forms to submit:
- Driving abstract from Department of Licensing
Location: Transportation Department
Job Number: CL800-27-09
Washington State minimum wage up to Sixty (60) hours.
District will pay for the cost of fingerprinting and Skills Test. The District will reimburse one-half of the fees listed below after the individual is hired as a substitute. If the driver stays employed as a substitute or regular bus driver with the Sunnyside School District for six months, the remaining fees will be reimbursed.
Qualifications:
- Licenses/Special Requirements
- Successful WSP and FBI background check
- Valid Driver's License
- Social Security Card
- Have at least five years of experience as a licensed driver of a passenger vehicle per WAC 392-144-101
