Operational Specialist

The Financial Services Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is hiring for an Operations Specialist (Mutual Fund Services) in Boston, MA ! The Operations Specialist (Mutual Fund Services) is responsible for performing high-level specialized operational fund account opening activities. This role supports the firm's business lines and involves dealing with moderately complex issues. Some objectives include fund account documentation review and execution, communication with fund companies, processing and recording transactions , reporting and acknowledgment, and reconciliation. Additional Information Hybrid schedule: 2 days remote / 3 days in office Weekly hours: 40 hours Expected term: One year or longer Contract, but temp to perm Key Responsibilities Process transactions and verify information Perform intraday and end-of-day reconciliation Ensure all deadlines and requirements are met Provide superior client service Ensure timely response to internal and external requests Follow up on open inquiries Identify and document errors to reduce exposure Interact with other departments for issue resolution Manage associated fund account projects Assist with defining procedures and controls Prepare and execute required fund documentation Investigate and respond to inquiries related to fund account openings Maintain and review daily department reports Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Recent Graduate 1 to 2 years of financial services experience (internships count) Proven knowledge of one or more product areas within Operations Ability to perform technical responsibilities with high competence Preferred Skills Aptitude for thorough and timely research, analysis, and resolution Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Ability to multi-task and juggle assignments Teamwork capability Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure Proactive self-starter who is detail and goal-oriented Must be authorized to work in the United States Russell Tobin offers eligible employees comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, life and disability insurance options, pet insurance, employee discounts, and access to an employee assistance program, identity theft protection, and legal support. #J-18808-Ljbffr Russell Tobin
