Full-Time Urgent Care Physician
Location: Anaheim, CA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM No nights No weekends No holidays No on-call Position Type: Direct Hire – Full Time
OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Urgent Care Physician to join a well-supported outpatient team in Anaheim, California . This role offers a predictable weekday schedule, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced urgent care environment — without the burden of nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive urgent care services to walk-in patients
- Perform assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning
- Manage acute illnesses, minor injuries, and episodic care needs
- Document accurately and efficiently within the EMR
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Maintain compliance with urgent care standards and regulatory guidelines
- Conduct DOT physicals and complete all required documentation
2+ years of experience in ANY of the following: NextGen Inpatient Clinicals Clinical Documentation Clinical Pharmacy
Valid Department of Transportation Medical Examiner (DOT Medical Examiner) certification
Doctorate degree (MD or DO) Active & unrestricted California medical license Strong communication and patient engagement skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Schedule & Work Environment- Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
- No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call
- Consistent patient volume
- Supportive clinical and administrative team
- Modern urgent care facility with efficient workflow
- Comfortable in urgent care or fast-paced outpatient settings
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
- Reliable, professional, and patient-centered
- Enjoys predictable weekday-only work
