. This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to support our medical practice and provide care to a diverse patient population.

As a Locum Otolaryngologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating conditions related to the ear, nose, and throat. You will collaborate closely with our healthcare staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care while addressing various medical needs. This role will allow you to make a significant impact on the health and well-being of our community.

 

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and assessments of patients with ENT-related issues
• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for a variety of conditions
• Perform surgical procedures as necessary and appropriate
• Collaborate with allied health professionals to provide coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical regulations
• Provide education and resources to patients regarding their conditions
• Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education activities to enhance skills
• Support the community's health initiatives and outreach programs

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Active medical license to practice in the relevant state
• Board certification in Otolaryngology is preferred
• Prior clinical experience as an Otolaryngologist, preferably in a locum capacity
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practices
• Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, specific dates

Setting: Inpatient

Daily Volume: 1-2 callbacks

Team Structure: 2 MDs, 1 NP

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Additional Qualifications: DEA, BLS, ACLS
