Job Title

Specific duties and responsibilities for each Nurse vacancy varies based on the specialty, and will be discussed in more detail with the hiring manager upon referral/selection. Major duties include, but are not limited to:

• Teaching of health care and the prevention of illness
• Assessment, nursing diagnosis, nursing care, and counsel
• Administration of medications and treatments
• Coordination and assistance in the delivery of a plan of health care
• Teaching and supervising of other nursing personnel
• Responsible and accountable for individual nursing practice and determines the appropriate delegation of tasks consistent with the nurse's obligation to provide optimal care.
• Delivering safe care to assigned patients, while developing technical competencies.
• Formulating a plan of care based on nursing assessments, using the nursing process, based on the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.
• Completing initial assessment of patient condition and response to treatment and initiates follow-up as needed.
• Documenting the nursing process ensuring consistency, accuracy, that it is concise and timely.
• Evaluating and documenting patient response to interventions and progress towards attainment of goals and expected outcomes.
• Revising plan of care according to evaluations of patient's responses and outcome.
• Demonstrating appropriate and consistent critical thinking skills.

Pay:

Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards

Paid Time Off:

50 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year)
