Social Strategist

Job Title

Digitas is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day, your role includes:

• Monitoring online conversations
• Participating in online conversations via posts to build brand visibility and thought leadership
• Creatively and proactively assisting the brand's and your Digitas team in the development of social strategies, playbooks, etc.
• Serving as the initial point of contact for inbound requests from the social client team
• Identifying, analyzing issues, patterns, and trends in the client landscape and with brand agnostic digital trends
• Creating and ideating, every. single. day.
• Establishing benchmarks for metrics and developing a reporting schedule including recommendations
• Analyzing campaigns and translating anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the social media campaigns
• Identifying and engaging advocates/influencers
• Proactively escalating and communicating issues, observations, opportunities, and insights to the appropriate client team
• Establishing credibility as a thought leader on new social media tools, best practices, and how organizations are using new tools, in order to gain a rapid competitive (and early adopter) advantage
• Further establishing Digitas credibility in the Social space by participating in professional networking arenas - attending/speaking at relevant events

Qualifications

We're looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:

• A 4-year degree and 1 to 3 years working in digital and/or communications
• Experience living in the social media universeyou're in-the-know on YouTube, Reddit, Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, blogs, etc.
• Excellent research and writing skillsand the ability to create smart content quickly
• A passion for blogging, microblogging and Facebooking or just creating content in whatever platform you favorite
• A strong understanding of marketing strategy, particularly feed marketing
• Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing
• The ability to back up great creative ideas with sound analytical reasoning
• Willingness to travel you're open to new places, new faces, and new ideas
• Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALLE, Midjourney) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, or content generation.

Compensation Range: USD $66,120.00 - USD $87,000.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
