Responsibilities: Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene. Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation. Medication Reminders: Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules. Support clients in managing their medication routines. Meal Preparation and Nutrition: Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements. Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration. Companionship and Social Interaction: Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship. Accompany clients to appointments and social activities. Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team. Document care provided and any notable observations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred, PCA/CNA certificate preferred. Certification in CPR and First Aid required. Current TB skin test required. Compassionate and empathetic attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.
