About the Role Innovative Therapy Center is seeking a PRN Infant Feeding Therapist to support our growing feeding and swallowing program in Uniontown, Ohio. This position is ideal for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist or Occupational Therapist with specialized training and experience working with infants and young children with feeding and swallowing concerns. The PRN role offers flexibility based on patient need and clinician availability, with the potential to grow as demand develops. Responsibilities may include: Evaluate and treat infants and young children with feeding and swallowing concerns within professional scope of practice Assess and support infant and early childhood feeding development Address oral motor and feeding skill development Support bottle feeding, transition to solids, cup and straw drinking, and age appropriate feeding progression Provide caregiver education and strategies for safe and successful feeding at home Recognize signs and symptoms that may warrant additional medical assessment or instrumental swallowing evaluation Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, lactation professionals, dietitians, and other providers when appropriate Collaborate with ITC's Feeding & Swallowing, Speech, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Mental Health teams Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with licensure and scope of practice Compensation & Benefits This is currently a PRN position with scheduling based on patient need and clinician availability. Job Summary Current or eligible Ohio licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist or Occupational Therapist Experience working with infants and young children with feeding concerns Specialized education or training in pediatric and/or infant feeding Strong understanding of infant oral motor and feeding development Ability to recognize signs and symptoms of swallowing dysfunction and determine when additional evaluation or referral may be appropriate Strong caregiver education and communication skills Commitment to evidence based, family centered care Ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals Dependable, professional, and able to independently manage a clinical caseload within scope of practice Experience with medically complex infants, pediatric dysphagia, bottle feeding, transition to solids, and interdisciplinary feeding care is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Innovative Therapy Center
