General Position Summary Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service. Meet or exceed Company objectives in all individual sales statistics. Document and provide feedback on associate sales performance in line with Company objectives. Maintain visual standards through proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness. Adhere to the Company Dress Code Policy. Generate Sales Produce sales gains by providing customer service. Meet or exceed Company objectives in all individual statistics. Control Expenses Protect Company assets within Lids Retail policies. Assist in preparing store schedules that provide proper coverage while staying within wage control guidelines. Accurately manage inventory, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and product counting. Document and maintain records per Lids Retail policies and state/federal laws. Open and close the store following procedures in the Operations P&P Manual. Support all Lids policies, procedures, and guidelines. Supervise Associates Participate in Lids training programs and adhere to set sales and task goals. Recruit, train, and supervise store personnel on proper operations and procedures. Encourage compliance with company policies, including safekeeping of inventory, funds, and property. Perform delegated work for subordinates as needed. Communicate effectively with employees at all levels. Execute additional duties as assigned. Job Required Knowledge & Skills High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of related experience. Ability to generate sales results while minimizing loss. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Competence in operating a computer and related software. Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladders and work overhead. Standing required for up to 100% of the work time. Capability to work unsupervised.
