Position Summary Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates). Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, coordinating workloads, and ensuring associates complete required training to achieve facility goals. Manage daily administrative functions of the HR office (e.g., benefits, hiring, transfers, terminations, payroll) by executing and refining recruiting and staffing initiatives and researching employment‑related concerns for applicants, associates, and managers. Ensure compliance with company HR policies by reviewing accuracy, confidentiality, and maintenance of HR documents, assisting in HR systems implementation, and gathering data for HR issues. Maintain quality and safety standards by training associates on logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, distributing procedures, and maintaining supporting documentation. Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns by listening, consulting, determining corrective actions, and making recommendations to resolve issues. Supervise and develop associates and leaders: assign duties, coordinate workloads, monitor performance, provide feedback, teach, support, model policies, identify training needs, and participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation. Manage and coordinate training (e.g., new hire orientation, CBL modules, web‑based training, virtual classroom) for distribution and/or transportation associates by identifying needs, monitoring curriculum completion, presenting courses, and ensuring compliance. Coordinate job‑related activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet business needs, communicating goals, building accountability, measuring results, identifying improvement opportunities, and promoting continuous learning. Provide supervision and development opportunities: hire, train, mentor, recognize, and promote a belonging mindset in the workplace. Ensure compliance with company policies, support the mission, values, and ethical standards, implement action plans, and support the Open Door Policy. Respect the individual: build high‑performing teams, embrace differences, create a supportive culture of belonging, and provide opportunities for all associates to thrive. Serve customers and members: deliver results, prioritize the customer, adapt to changing shopping behaviors, and make data‑driven decisions balancing short and long‑term priorities. Strive for excellence: exhibit curiosity, learn, take risks, demonstrate resilience, encourage learning from mistakes, adopt new technologies, and support change. Tuition, books, and fees are paid by Walmart. The annual salary range for this position is \$65,500.00 - \$98,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses, regional pay zone, and stock options. Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field with 1 year’s supervisory experience. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field. 2 years’ Walmart Logistics management experience. 2 years’ supervisory experience, including 1 year’s experience managing HR processes. 1 year’s Walmart Stores, Inc. Human Resources experience. Associates must attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications Human Resources. Microsoft Office proficiency. Experience supervising associates. Training and facilitation skills. Familiarity with Walmart Logistics Systems. Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics. Human Resources – Professional HR (PHR) certification. Human Resources – Senior Professional HR (SPHR) certification. Primary Location 1050 VERN.
