Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Territory: San Mateo County: South San Francisco, Pacifica What you’ll do as a Home Health Speech Therapist/Language Pathologist (ST): Partner with the Case Manager to provide skilled services to assist patients with breathing, speaking, and swallowing functions. Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and fluency disorders that affect communication. Serve as an educator, patient advocate, and member of the interdisciplinary care team. Competitive compensation with an achievable incentive bonus program. Qualifications Current unrestricted CA Speech Therapist License. Current BLS/CPR certification. Valid CA Driver’s License. Knowledge and understanding of individual development and human behavior as it relates to the effects of illness/injury; and of the influence of culture on health care. Knowledge of state and federal home‑care regulatory guidelines preferred. Experience in home health care highly preferred. Experience with high‑acuity patients is a plus. Experience working with an interdisciplinary team highly desired. Case Management fundamentals highly desired. Self‑directed. Empathetic. Critical thinker. Outstanding interpersonal skills. Leadership skills. Organized. Prior to scheduling an in‑person interview, all candidates are required to complete a computer literacy and competency assessment.
