Job Description Job Summary: Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide perioperative care in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This contract role involves coordinating patient recovery and discharge processes, ensuring safety, comfort, and quality care. Responsibilities:

- Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and recovery status post-surgery.
- Administer IV fluids, medications, and other interventions as ordered.
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure smooth patient transitions.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and clinical interventions in EMR.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and dress code standards.
- Valid RN license with current state certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in PACU, PreOp, or PostOp recovery.
- Proficient in Meditech EMR system.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying shift schedules and unit needs.
