Desired Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in the state of Washington
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) awarded by ASHA
- Previous experience providing speech therapy services in a school setting
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet individualized student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population according to IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations, develop reports, and contribute to eligibility and review meetings
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to implement interventions and share student progress
- Maintain meticulous records in alignment with school and state requirements
- Deliver therapy in both individual and group settings
- Offer consultative support and training to teachers on communication strategies for their classrooms
