Pediatric Audiologist – Auditory Processing Disorder Specialty ListenHEAR | Bonita Springs, FL
Join a niche practice dedicated to diagnosing and treating Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) in children and adults. If you love pediatric care, diagnostic puzzle-solving, and meaningful rehabilitation—without hearing aid sales quotas—we want to talk to you.
No prior APD experience required; hands-on training and real mentorship provided for the right candidate.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct APD and pediatric audiological evaluations; interpret complex test batteries to identify specific weaknesses.
- Deliver individualized auditory therapy and interactive training programs.
- Counsel families and recommend school/home accommodations.
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, psychologists, and physicians.
- Track long-term outcomes via follow-up testing.
Qualifications & Traits
- Au.D. (or equivalent) with Florida licensure or license-eligibility.
- Strong pediatric skills and comfort working with neurodiverse populations.
- Collaborative team player with clear communication skills.
- Passion for root-cause treatment, rehab, and specialized skill-building.
