Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 7a - 7p or 7p - 7a, every other weekend (Sat/Sun)


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Travel assignment in Bridgeport, WV. This position involves working in a dynamic 36-bed Cardiac/Telemetry PCU (Stepdown) unit with high acuity patients. Nursing ratios and the diverse patient population make this a challenging yet rewarding role in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown - Travel

• Provide comprehensive care for cardiac patients, including those with CR bands, post cath, AMI, post-op lung surgeries, respiratory failure, chest tubes, pacemakers, and post PCI.
• Titrate cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Dobutamine, Dobutamine, Integrelin, heparin, Ativan, Lasix, and Nitro.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips on Phillips monitors.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care.
• Participate in the weekend and holiday rotation schedule alongside permanent staff.

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown - Travel

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• Experience with titration of cardiac medications
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
