Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activity Director to join our team. As a vital member of our healthcare community, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative recreational programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement activities and programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents, including social, recreational, and therapeutic programs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address the unique needs of each resident
Recruit and supervise activity staff, volunteers, and interns to ensure the effective delivery of programs
Maintain accurate records and reports of resident participation and program effectiveness
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve program quality and resident satisfaction
Develop and manage budgets for activity programs and supplies

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreation therapy, gerontology, or a related field preferred
Minimum 1 years of experience in activity direction or a related field
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
