American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position requiring 2 years of recent ICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Critical Care Float Pool unit covering ICU areas including MICU, Neuro, and SICU

Day shift schedule

No blocked scheduling allowed

Active NY RN license required at time of consideration

BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Minimum 1 supervisor or manager reference within the past year (charge nurse references not accepted)

No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Competency testing required for ICU units with 2 attempts to pass

Float pool role supporting multiple critical care units as needed

Medical exemption only accepted for flu vaccination (personal or religious declinations not accepted)

More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks

RTO must be requested at time of consideration

Local candidates within a 50-mile radius from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
