Maintenance Manager

Maintenance Manager Salary: $115,000-$150,000 per year Shift: 1st – Hours: 6:00am-4:00pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group is offering this role. This hands‑on leadership position is ideal for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys solving problems, improving equipment reliability, and making a lasting impact in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Lead, supervise, schedule, and develop the maintenance team. Manage capital improvement projects from planning through completion. Coordinate plant shutdowns and maintenance activities to minimize downtime. Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs and monitor equipment performance. Manage department budgets, maintenance records, inventory, and CMMS (MAPCON). Supervise equipment installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Partner with HR on hiring, performance management, coaching, and employee discipline. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment, materials, and services. Ensure compliance with safety programs, Management of Change (MOC) procedures, and regulatory requirements. Complete projects safely, on time, and within budget. Qualifications Engineering degree preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field) but not required. Minimum of four (4) years of maintenance leadership experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and material handling systems. Experience with welding, fabrication, pump alignment, forklifts, and maintenance management software preferred. Ability to read blueprints and technical documents. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, work at heights, operate maintenance equipment, and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and on-call as needed. Hiring immediately!
