Education and Certification Requirements

• Possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline.
• Completion of a program recognized by the CAAHEP is preferred.

Certifications Needed

• Hold a current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
