Job Title and Location Strategic Procurement Manager (Nashville, TN or Cambridge, MA) Job Description 578488 Strategic Procurement Manager (Nashville, TN or Cambridge, MA) Drive strategic sourcing excellence by leading data-driven procurement initiatives, optimizing total cost of ownership, and strengthening supplier partnerships to support innovation and operational performance. Your Role You will develop and execute strategic procurement plans aligned with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction goals, site objectives, and global sourcing strategies, leveraging market intelligence and advanced sourcing methodologies to optimize total landed cost. You will cultivate and manage strategic supplier relationships, leading collaborative initiatives such as cost reduction programs while proactively identifying and mitigating supply chain risks through structured risk assessment approaches. You will lead complex procurement and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, partnering cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of materials and services. You will oversee site-specific procurement processes, ensuring compliance with internal data governance, regulatory requirements (e.g., Incoterms, export controls), and continuous improvement of procurement workflows to drive efficiency and cycle time reduction. You will establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement cycle time, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across procurement activities. You\'re The Right Fit If You’ve acquired experience in procurement, supply chain, operations, or engineering environments, with exposure to strategic sourcing, supplier management, or New Product Introduction (NPI) activities. Your skills include data-driven decision-making, cost optimization (TCO, TLC), supplier relationship management, project management, and familiarity with methodologies such as Value Engineering (VE) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM). You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related field. Philips Transparency Details Latham, NY The pay range for this position in Nashville, TN is $94,000 to $150,000 The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $105,000 to $168,000 The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
