Job Summary

The organization is seeking a Clinic (No Specific Specialty) Healthcare Professional to join a pulmonary medicine outpatient clinic in West Allis, Wisconsin. This role involves providing comprehensive care to adult patients with diagnoses such as COPD, asthma, sleep disorders, and related respiratory conditions in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The position emphasizes multi-tasking, critical thinking, and collaboration within a team environment.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 1 year of clinic experience; experience with adult pulmonary diagnoses including COPD, asthma, sleep medicine; proficiency in in-basket management, prior authorization paperwork, FMLA, order entry, and medication education; ambulatory Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience in Epic; valid driver’s and personal transportation.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with 8-hour shifts for a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidate should possess critical thinking skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, be punctual, flexible, and adaptable. Support within the department is provided by Medical Assistants, Patient Service Representatives, and supervising physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. Floating to other clinic locations may be required very rarely, with advance notice provided. Orientation includes a two-week department onboarding with a supervisor.
