Position Details LPN – Full-time/Part-time Shift: 3rd shift and 2nd shift Rate: $28–$32 per hour $2 weekend differential Free health insurance up to $500/month About the Facility English Valley Nursing Care Center (EVNCC) is a licensed 44-bed dually certified building with an attached Assisted Living. We are a resident‑centered facility that endeavors to provide quality care and an exceptional living environment to our stakeholders. We are nestled in a beautiful rural community in Southeast Iowa proximal to Iowa City and several prominent schools and hospitals. Role EVNCC is seeking a part‑time or full‑time LPN. Responsibilities Follow established standards of nursing practice and implements facility policies and procedures. Complete medication administration. Complete detailed nursing assessments and documentation. Interpret existing policies and procedures to CNAs, residents, families, and physicians. Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care and initiate corrective action as necessary. Obtain reports from nurse relieving and record sufficient information for follow‑up action if necessary. Conduct daily resident rounds, report problems to Nursing Supervisor and initiate corrective action. Identify resident problems and emergency situations and respond appropriately within the quality of life policies. Provide clinical supervision of CNAs.
