RN (Registered Nurse)

Unit Notes Driver's license required for submission. Department: Rehab | RN Certifications: BLS required. Rehab certification is a plus. QIM experience preferred. The facility requires a clinical prescreen. If recommended, the hiring manager has 24 hours to accept or decline the candidate. There will be no second phone interview. Facility Details Number of beds: 30 Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:6-8 depending on acuity Required certifications: BLS; rehab certification is a plus; QIM experience preferred Common diagnoses: Patients transferred from med-surg/telemetry units including post-op cardiovascular surgery, falls, knee surgeries, back surgeries, strokes, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and some COVID post-acute conditioning Use of PICC lines and ports Experience: Minimum 1 year inpatient acute rehab experience required (not SNF or LTACH). Previous travel experience highly preferred. RNs are not required to titrate drips Common titratable fluids: IV fluids, electrolytes, antibiotics, blood products No continuous telemetry monitoring on the unit Charge nurse coverage: Team leader during the day until 11pm; charge nurse on nights, weekends, and holidays Nurse aide support: 2-3 techs per shift depending on census, responsible for ADLs, vital signs, and shower assistance Respiratory therapy equipment: CPAP/BiPAP allowed if used at home; RT assists with settings Shifts & Scheduling Shift hours: 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 12-hour shifts Schedule built by team leader/manager with flexibility to accommodate block scheduling Weekend and holiday work expected based on unit needs Standby requirement in case of low census and pending admissions Floating assignments include med-surg units Additional Information Scrub color: Caribbean blue Unit-specific orientation: One 12-hour shift with a preceptor Radius rule: Clinicians with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility will be offered a rate lower than the base rate for their position Date Entered: 12/12/2023 #J-18808-Ljbffr
