Banquet Server- Part-time/On-call

Compensation: $18 PER HOUR

Reports to: Banquet Manager

Schedule: Evenings and weekends preferred

Established in 1920, Brook Hollow Golf Club enjoys a strong reputation as one of Dallas' most historic and exclusive private clubs. World-class facilities including a fully renovated golf course that was completed in 2020, a sports complex for tennis, pickleball, wellness and swimming, and a famed ballroom in which are presented some of Dallas' most memorable and fashionable social events. We are a high-end service golf operation looking for highly energetic, team-oriented members to provide the best possible service for a high-profile membership.

Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Performs related banquet (dining room) set-up tasks.
• Performs synchronized service as a team.
• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Takes cocktail order and serves food in specified station.
• Pour and refill wine, coffee, water and/or other beverages served with and after the meal.
• Clears soiled dishes as needed.
• Cleans all assigned work areas in kitchen and dining room.
• Advises supervisor of any member/guest complaints as soon as they occur.
• Performs additional duties as directed by a supervisor or manager.
• Always creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

• Should have an eye for detail.
• Must possess honesty and integrity.
• Must always be courteous and tactful.
• Must be innovative and look for areas that need improvement.
• Must present a professional appearance and mannerisms.
• Keep composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Relay important information about allergies and dietary restrictions to manager on Duty.

Special Requirements:

• Must have or be able to obtain a Texas Food Handlers Card and TABC Certificate
• Must be able to clearly understand and communicate with Members, guests and co-workers in English.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must work well with others as a team and help co-workers as needed.
• Must have an outgoing personality.
• Must possess a sense of urgency.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs,
• balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and/or sit up to16 hours per day.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Hearing and talking is sufficient to communicate with members, guests, and co-workers.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, or vision sufficient to read, distance vision, color vision,
• Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 50lbs.
• Independent mobility throughout the Clubhouse and surrounding areas.
