Director of Development/Fundraising

A mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Director of Development to lead and expand its fundraising and external engagement efforts. This role is responsible for designing and executing a modern, data-informed development strategy that supports the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability. The Director of Development will oversee fundraising events, donor and sponsor relationships, community partnerships, and performance reporting, and will work closely with executive leadership and a Professional Advisory Board to strengthen visibility, impact, and revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Fundraising Strategy & Revenue Growth Develop and implement the annual fundraising strategy in alignment with organizational goals Establish revenue targets and track progress across all fundraising initiatives Identify opportunities to diversify and expand fundraising revenue streams Events & Community Engagement Plan, manage, and grow major fundraising and awareness events, including an Annual Gala and community awareness walks Design and launch new fundraising and community awareness initiatives Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, mission-aligned organizations, community partners, and sponsors Donor & Sponsor Development Cultivate, steward, and expand relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and institutional partners Manage donor and sponsor lists while proactively identifying and engaging new prospects Collaborate with the Professional Advisory Board to support fundraising and outreach efforts Communications & Visibility Oversee fundraising communications, including e-blast campaigns and coordination with social media efforts Ensure consistent, mission-aligned messaging across all fundraising and engagement activities Data, Reporting & Accountability Track outreach, attendance, sponsorships, and revenue using organized data tools (e.g., Excel, CRM systems) Prepare regular reports analyzing fundraising performance, projected revenue, ROI, and engagement metrics Provide clear, timely updates to the Executive Director and Board to support informed decision-making #J-18808-Ljbffr Community Living Corporation
