Job Details Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Location: Boston, MA 02115 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 10/5/2026 Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 Schedule: Rotating day and evening shifts with weekends and call coverage Shift Pattern: 4x10 or 3x12 shifts Shift Duration: 10-hour or 12-hour shifts, depending on the schedule Experience Level: At least 1 year of recent operating room nursing experience required Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 1 year of recent OR nursing or perioperative nursing experience Ability to work rotating day/evening shifts, including weekends and call Comfortable adapting to variable schedules and unit needs in a surgical setting Strong teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills Willingness to complete required pre-start and onboarding documentation Responsibilities Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in the operating room Support surgical procedures by preparing the room and maintaining a sterile environment Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, and the perioperative team Monitor patient status throughout the surgical experience and respond to changing needs Assist with circulating duties and other perioperative nursing functions as assigned Adapt to rotational scheduling, weekend coverage, and short-call expectations Deliver high-quality care while helping maintain an efficient and well-organized OR workflow Why Consider This Boston Healthcare Job?
