Certified Pilates Instructor

Pilates InstructorWomanWorx a division of Minnesota Women's Care is seeking a dynamic, organized, and responsible Pilates Instructor to join our growing team in our Pelvic Floor and Women's Fitness Center.This position will work closely with a team of physical therapists, chiropractors, and exercise experts to work with women of all ages and stages of life. Specifically, those with pelvic floor dysfunction like prolapse, urinary incontinence, prenatal, post-natal and those with weight loss goals.Responsibilities include:Working in a multi-disciplinary team of experts to develop safe and effective Pilates workouts, specific to the client's needsTeaching Group Pilates Reformer classes (5:1)Teaching Group Mat PilatesDeveloping safe, professional, and comprehensive programs for our patients/members.Monitoring and instructing clients during training sessions on the safe and effective use of the equipmentAbility to modify and adapt instruction based on students' physical needsPromotes and sells Pilates classes, fitness memberships, personal training and group training to membersRequirements include:Certified in Pilates ReformerAdditional fitness certification from accredited agencies preferredUnderstanding of anatomy and importance of proper alignment and safe movement practicesExperience working with clinical and non-clinical populationsTeam oriented and willing to sub for peer instructors when neededCPR & AED certificationsMust be friendly, approachable, positive, and genuineAbility to perform an aerobic activity for duration of a class
