Your role:
As a host, you'll set the tone for our guests' dining experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Warm welcomes: Greet guests with a smile and a positive attitude.
- Managing reservations: Handle bookings and walk-ins efficiently.
- Seating guests: Escort guests to their tables and manage seating arrangements.
- Menu knowledge: Provide information about our offerings and specials.
- Assisting with waitlists: Keep track of waiting guests and ensure timely seating.
- Customer interaction: Engage with guests, answer questions, and address any concerns.
What we're looking for:
- Customer service experience: Previous experience in a hospitality or customer-facing role is highly desired.
- Positive attitude: Thrive under pressure and enjoy interacting with guests.
- Commitment to excellence: Dedicated to providing top-notch service.
- Team player: Work well with servers, bussers, and other staff.
- Attention to detail: Handle reservations and seating accurately.
Skills needed:
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Organizational skills: Manage reservations and waitlists effectively.
- Multi-tasking: Navigate a bustling environment with ease.
- Computer proficiency: Comfortable with reservation systems and technology.
- Problem-solving: Address and resolve guest issues promptly.
- Safety knowledge: Understand workplace safety procedures.
Physical requirements:
- On your feet: Able to stand and walk throughout the shift.
- Hands-on: Reach, lift, bend, stoop, and wipe continuously.
- Personal hygiene: Maintain cleanliness, including frequent hand washing.
