Urgent Care Physician

St. Joseph Hospital is seeking an experienced, patient-focused Urgent Care Physician to join our collaborative and high-performing team in Milford, New Hampshire . Whether you are Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine trained, this role offers the perfect balance of clinical challenge, schedule flexibility, and strong team support. What You’ll Do Provide high-quality, efficient care in a busy urgent care setting Evaluate and treat a wide range of acute conditions and injuries Perform procedures including: Suturing Splinting Abscess drainage Foreign body removal (including ocular cases) Utilize a slit lamp for eye evaluations Independently interpret X-rays and EKGs Collaborate closely with experienced nurses and Physician Assistants What We’re Looking For Minimum 3 years of Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience required Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine preferred Strong procedural skills and clinical confidence Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach Practice Environment Modern, well-equipped urgent care center Full on-site X-ray capabilities Point-of-care laboratory testing CT and Ultrasound available on select days/times Supported by a skilled, team-oriented clinical staff Schedule & Compensation 12 shifts per month 12-hour shifts providing schedule flexibility and work-life balance Competitive salary Why St. Joseph Hospital?
