Growing together.As a full-time, nonexempt Specialty Pharmacist you'll play a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services. This is a hands-on opportunity to make a direct impact by ensuring the accuracy of medication orders, verifying technician-prepared products, and safeguarding controlled substances. You'll contribute to a high-performing team by mentoring new staff, maintaining seamless daily operations, and supporting the Director in optimizing pharmacy performance.Schedule: This full-time, nonexempt position will work 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.Primary Responsibilities:Review and manage specialty medication therapies for complex, chronic, or high-cost conditionsProvide patient education and counseling, focusing on adherence, administration, side effects, and outcomesCoordinate care with providers, payers, and manufacturers to ensure therapy access and continuityOversee prior authorizations and utilization management, ensuring compliance with payer and program requirementsMonitor effectiveness and safety of therapy, including lab values, adherence metrics, and patient-reported outcomesEnsure compliance with REMS and accreditation standards, including documentation and reporting requirementsSupport quality initiatives and outcomes reporting, meeting specialty pharmacy performance and regulatory metricsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree or PharmD (highly preferred)Current New York Pharmacist license in good standingProficient computer skills with pharmacy systems and Microsoft OfficePreferred Qualifications:Experience in hospital or retail settingAuthorization experiencePay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 - $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
