Arkansas Talent Group is exclusively partnering with a local mid/large organization to help them hire a Senior Accountant to join their growing accounting team at their headquarters in North Little Rock. This is a high-impact role with real growth potential as the company scales for this hired individual. 

Job Description: 

• Own key pieces of the month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Manage general ledger accounting across multiple entities
• Support project accounting and allocation work
• Assist with tax-related and compliance-driven accounting responsibilities
• Perform variance analysis and identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes
• Support special automation projects, including leveraging AI and Microsoft Business Central to drive efficiency
• Contribute to special projects as assigned and support accounting processes as the organization grows

Ideal candidate:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience —either in private or public accounting audit
• Degree in Accounting is required
• Technically strong in accounting with deep reconciliation experience
• Mid to large business experience, having worked in environments with $50M–$100M+ revenue
• Strong general ledger background with solid month-end close experience
• Comfortable working across multiple entities in a high-volume accounting environment
• Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)
• Able to understand the accounting behind the numbers — not just process transactions
• A strong communicator, both written and oral, who enjoys collaborating and interacting with others
• Comfortable in a growing, evolving environment and flexible when job duties shift with growth
• Analytical mindset with the ability to understand the "why" behind the accounting

Compensation and benefits:

• $65,000 – $85,000 base salary, depending on years and type of experience
• 401(k) with 4% match — eligible to participate after 90 days
