Monday – Friday

2pm – 10:30pm

First two weeks or so will be on day shift for orientation/general training

Job Description

Typical Histology duties include tissue embedding, microtomy and staining

Specimen accessioning and tissue processor maintenance

Must be comfortable working independently once on evening shift

Experience/Requirements

Must have clinical lab experience in a healthcare setting as a Histotech

Must be willing to do specimen accessioning and tissue processor maintenance – will train if not familiar

ASCP certification preferred but not required

2+ years of experience as a Histotech

Experience is not required for the equipment below, but most candidates should be familiar
