General Manager – High-Volume Upscale Restaurant

A premier, high-volume upscale dining destination in Raleigh, NC, known for delivering exceptional hospitality, culinary excellence, and an unforgettable guest experience. We are seeking a polished, high-energy General Manager with a proven track record to lead our team, maintain high operational standards, and drive financial growth.

The General Manager will oversee all day-to-day operations of the restaurant, balancing guest experience, team development, and financial execution. You will hold full P&L accountability, ensuring profitability while fostering a dynamic, professional culture that retains top talent.

Leadership & Culture

• Lead, coach, and mentor a front-of-house and back-of-house team of hospitality professionals.
• Maintain high standards of hospitality, guest service, and conflict resolution.
• Drive retention strategies, building a culture grounded in accountability, growth, and teamwork.

Financial & P&L Management

• Maintain full P&L responsibility, managing food cost, labor percentage, and operational overhead.
• Analyze sales, labor, and inventory metrics weekly to implement cost-saving initiatives and optimize revenue.
• Prepare annual operational budgets, financial forecasts, and sales projections.

Daily Operations & Quality Control

• Ensure flawless service execution during high-volume periods ($5M+ annual volume preferred).
• Oversee compliance with state, local, and health department food safety regulations.
• Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless front-of-house and back-of-house synchronization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven Tenure: Minimum of 4–6+ years of General Manager experience in a high-volume, upscale dining environment. A history of stable job tenure is required.
• Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of restaurant P&L statements, budgeting, labor scheduling, and inventory control.
• Leadership Style: Strong, professional communication skills with an ability to inspire and manage large, diverse teams.
• Location: Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Raleigh-Durham area.

Compensation & Benefits
