General Maintenance

General maintenance at British Swim School of Loudoun provides technical support for general maintenance which includes a variety of skills.

Roles and responsibilities include reporting to and communicating directly with the Operations Manager. Ability to drive own and company vehicle. Correctly dressed in uniform. Work a flexible schedule that may include holidays and weekends as required by business needs and as requested by management. Work in an environment where noise levels are usually moderate to high and stand in the water for up to 8 consecutive hours. Other responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Knowledge, skills and abilities include an enthusiastic, assertive personality with strong relationship and customer service skills. General maintenance, painting, interior exterior, carpentry, masonry, minor plumbing and electrical.

Qualifications include 3 years of experience. Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour.

While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach.

In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool.
